I’m a self-shooting PD working mainly on programmes for the BBC and Channel 4.I’m a highly skilful shooter and very strong editorially. I’m equally happy working as a solo self-shooter or as part of a team. I am great with contributors, experienced with sensitive subject matter, as well as being really adept at producing and developing storylines on the go.I love working on impactful films that are beautifully shot and character driven and that take us beyond our usual understanding of the world around us.I’ve worked on a range of films, from innovative formats such as Murder Island, to hard hitting series such as The Parkinson’s Drug Trial (which won a Grierson in 2019) and Murder Case (Series 2 won a BAFTA Scotland for Best Factual Series), as well as ob docs such as The Scottish Island that Won the Lottery and Fish Town. I've also worked on multiple current affairs programmes such as Can We Still Save the Planet?, Children in Need, Panorama and Dispatches, as well as a range of Fact Ent programmes such as multiple Stand Up To Cancer VTs.I'm also co-founder/director of Megaphone Creative (www.megaphonecreative.co.uk) - we make short form content for organisations and brands' awareness and fundraising campaigns, on issues such as mental health, homelessness, refugee crises and climate change.I am also a qualified drone operator with a Permission for Commercial Operations.
