My first love is making programmes that mine the very best out of their subjects. I have worked across a wide range of themes and topics over several genres on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky Sports. My work has included filming at and around the Chernobyl nuclear site 10 years after the disaster; one RTS nominated documentary exposing a miscarriage of justice; biographies of British cycling hero Graeme Obree and rock star Alex Harvey; profiles of personalities and their parents; ob doc travel programmes; sports highlights shows; and seven series following the work of animal rescue and abuse officers.In the dim and distant, I worked on series 1 of This Morning and was also part of the team that brought You've Been Framed to the UK! I have met and interviewed a huge number of the famous and infamous including David Bowie, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Roger Moore, John Forsyth, Lennox Lewis, Muhammad Ali, Linda Evans, Prince Albert of Monaco, Benazir Bhutto, Tony Blair, Margaret Thatcher, Don King, "Mad" Frankie Fraser, Sepp Blatter and Juan Antonio Samaranch.I love the values of research, creative use of resources and crafting easy to understand narratives. I hate jobsworths, pettiness and a lack of common sense. Although I enjoy leading from the front I am also a team player, strong communicator and optimist who looks for solutions not more problems.
