I'm an accomplished development producer, experienced in developing and pitching factual programmes, including fact ent, features, as well as documentaries and specialist factual (including history, science, adventure and tech) and, of course, cross genre.

I also have experience in branded content, winning the tenders for campaigns for Tesco and medical company, HCA, with my unique television eye that stood out among more corporate branded content producers.

I currently work in-house for international bank, Citi, producing a variety of content from podcasts to explainers to promotional videos. 

Whether it’s building a new slate from scratch with bold new ideas, or taking a top line and moulding it into a unique and compelling proposition, developing unscripted ideas is what I’m truly passionate about.

I'm an ideas guy - thinking big, top line, ballsy thoughts then working them into something produceable, working well in a team to bounce thoughts off to make any format as tight as possible. I write and design compelling treatments and compile decks on a day-to-day basis - making them snazzy and eye-catching, and I'm also able to organise, shoot and cut tasters or sizzles. I have access to photoshop and editing software at home, if remote working is required.

A strong caster, I'm also passionate about identifying and develop new, diverse talent for television and beyond.

I'm very familiar with the commissioning landscape across broadcasters and have some excellent relationships, including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and digital channels such as UKTV, and also in the US - Discovery, Nat Geo, A&E, amongst others.  I'm also across commissioner steers for SVODs and other digital platforms.

As an exec, I've managed a team of researchers, and collated the company slate. I organise creative brainstorms and am passionate about helping younger members of the team to develop their career. I have also been a mentor for PACT and Screenskills.

I'm an alumnus of the Channel 4 Production Trainee Scheme - a high competitive programme where I was accepted after having completed a masters in broadcast journalism.

Prior to my television career, I worked for 5 years for a property investment company. And yes, my dog is very cute! Read Less
