An executive producer, showrunner and director - with an extensive background in journalism - I specialise in telling current affairs and historical, archive-rich stories.  I have executive produced and directed BBC Two’s Amol Rajan Interviews since 2022, delivering three series of headline-grabbing films which combine in-depth conversations with rich storytelling. Earlier this year I executive-produced a documentary for BBC One marking the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz, which received a five-star review in the Guardian. In 2024 I executive produced (and scripted) D-Day 80: The Allies Prepare. Nominated for a Broadcast award, the globally-broadcast event was attended by HM The King, HRH Prince William and the Prime Minister. I have also made dozens of documentaries for Channel 5 about the cultural, consumer and social significance of some of the world’s most renowned institutions. Prior to this I edited BBC Watchdog and a BBC current affairs programme. I began my career as a newspaper and then television news journalist. A skilled writer and highly adept in the edit, I have won awards for directing, journalism and corporate content. In 2022, I also won the British Comedy Guide Pro Talent Awards for Writing. Read Less
