Hi there,

My name is Sam Luke. I am a Sizzle Editor/ 2nd Assistant Editor from London.

I have just finsihed up working on a new ITV show called The Summit and am now fully available.

Prior to this gig I was editing sizzles and all development projects in house for Shine for two years.

Prior to Shine I was cutting at RDF, then I was cutting sizzle tapes at Lion TV, BBC Studios, Lion TV again , Naked TV, then Remarkable TV and also BBC Studios again working with a variety of different development teams ( BBC Bristol, BBC Glasgow, BBC London) on different projects/sizzles.

Prior to the BBC, I was at Boom for 9 months cutting sizzles and development tapes for them. Prior to that,  I was at Brown Bob Productions, as a Junior Editor where I was editing sizzle tapes for them. Before that I worked at Hidden Light Productions and also Renowned Films, editing sizzles/ development tapes for them. I previously worked at Stand Out TV as a Junior Editor. . Prior to that I worked at ENVY Post Productions as a runner/ offline edit assistant trainee - Where I learnt in depth knowledge about the the postproduction workflow, how to ingest and transcode media and how crucial organisation and time management is during the editing process.

I am proficient in using Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro and all Adobe Suite and FCPX.

I am creative, efficient, enthusiastic, have strong initiative and I am crucially organised always. I can work independently and as part of team. I am confident in bringing forth new ideas and assisting in any way I can, in order to achieve and maintain a smooth process of production. I believe I would be able to have an excellent input in taking an idea/concept, expanding it, and making it reach its full potential.
