I am an experienced organised and mature factual researcher looking to step up to Junior AP. I came to TV as a second career having come from a drama background and re-trained at NFTS in Factual Development and Production, after winning a scholarship from the Discovery Channel. I bring strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and develop new skills in all my roles. Last December I was sponsored by Channel 4 to undertake a 2 week female documentary course at NFTS where I learnt the basics of camera and editing to make my own short films. I am currently available and looking for my next contract.

My most recent credit was series Researcher on a new Channel 4 travel series, The World's Most Secret Hotels due to air in the new year. Prior to that I worked on a series of 3 high profile documentaries for BBC Events. Other roles include working in development generating ideas for the Yesterday Channel for UKTV, researching a specialist factual history series for Smithsonian and casting on the documentary strand, Dispatches on Channel 4. Over the last 2 years I consistently delivered stories on time working both remotely and under challenging covid restrictions, casting interesting contributors, setting up shoots and worked with talent.

My other credits include documentaries for Channel 5, consumer series for channel 4 and BBC1 and popular factual for ITV. I work well independently as well as part of a team and can adapt to challenging environments.

I always bring a diverse cast and range of stories to any production I work on as well as regionality as I want to reflect the cultural diversity of the UK on screen to the best of my ability. Read Less
