I am an SP/PD/Edit Producer, specialising in arts and history, factual entertainment and formats, with a proven track record in working with high profile talent, intelligent storytelling and negotiating access. I am currently Series Editor on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year. Before that I was Series Directing Inside Culture with Mary Beard. I have also Live Produced Portrait Artist of the Week and directed an episode of Imagine for BBC1. I’ve worked in development and wrote the winning tender for the BBC’s Rolex-funded Culture in Motion project. My aim is always to make my films and formats as warm, entertaining and accessible as possible, but never compromising on the ideas. I have also worked on: high profile documentaries with key talent; performance capture; drama recon; casting for formats; current affairs magazine programmes and studio. Before starting my career in television I was a Research Officer at the Institute of Development Studies, after which I spent two years in the Middle East working for Aljazeera English. Read Less
