Give me a story and a tricky situation, and I’ll make you something you’ll love watching.

I’m a self-Shooting Producer/Director and Edit Producer with 20+ years making some of the UK's most-loved factual television, in demanding environments across the world - everywhere from rain-soaked hill farms to sterile labs building kit bound for Mars. I work across natural history, science, history, arts, magazine, blue-chip and OB, combining strong visual storytelling with sharp editorial judgement, scripting and post-production.

Give me a camera and I'll capture the beauty. I’m equally comfortable self-shooting on FX3, FX6 and FX9 or directing multi-camera productions. I bring a cinematic eye to every shoot, using prime lenses, strong composition and pictures that carry as much of the story as my sharp scripting. I’ve worked with more than 80 presenters, from household names including Chris Packham, Adam Frost, Gordon Buchanan, Dan Snow, Matt Baker and Anita Rani to first-time presenters, helping them find their confidence and get the best out of themselves on camera.

Give me an edit suite and I'll find you the story inside the rushes. An experienced Avid self-editor, I shape stories from rushes, archive, expert interviews and presenter-led material, write VO that turns the technical into the watchable, and steer programmes from first assembly to final delivery, often juggling multiple edits and brutal deadlines. I'm happiest chasing a story, cracking a problem, and cutting a film that makes people feel something. Read Less
