Andrea Buffery is one of the best series producers I know - and I've worked with many during my long career! It is always a pleasure to be in her company. We first me on BBC's Countryfile, when she was a director/producer. I was really impressed by her easy style and her sharp assessment of what was required to deliver polished and visually exciting films. Later we worked together when she was series producer and I was host on the first series of Countryfile Diaries - a challenge as it was the first spin off to bear the prestigious Countryfile brand name. The pressure was on for it to be successful, and it was. Andrea supervised the filming and editing of a large number of films which she had personally chosen and she built from scratch a loyal and enthusiastic team. Tell me that "Buffers" is in charge of a project and I'm a happy presenter.
