Read MoreI am an imaginative and creative journalist, ghost-writer, researcher, talent agent and celebrity booker who has spent years pitching entertainment, factual, reality and documentary shows to a variety of production companies.I have been an entertainment print journalist for almost 20 years, editing a variety of high profile magazines (including OK! where I was editor) and lifestyle titles like Attitude (and its one shot spin offs Love & Marriage, aTEEN, Screamers). I also founded the popular teen gay lifestyle website GuysLikeU.com.Along the way I have picked up a lot of handy skills that I can bring to the world of TV development. I have a great knowledge of TV and what audiences want, I can write effective and concise pitches, have maintained strong relationships with celebrities agents, have a good eye for casting and an ability to take a standard idea and present it in a fresh new way!I can also seek out interesting and unusual people and develop their experiences into a compelling story. During my years at OK! i was responsible in 'constructing' weekly storylines for our regular cast of stars (Kerry Katona, Peter Andre, Chantelle Houghton, Josie Gibson, Katie Price) to keep them relevant to readers and constantly in the news.I also developed regular high concept 'spoof' shoots for the magazine that became a regular place in the magazine during its heyday. Highlights include: The Beckhams In Peckham (what David and Victoria would be doing if they hadn't been famous), Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes married by alien vicar, Jennifer Aniston gatecrashes Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's wedding and The Cast of Big BrotherDuring my time as a talent agent, I not only pitched TV concepts for ex BBC newscaster Andy West (one of which he shot a pilot for), I devised and produced his irreverent celebrity YouTube channel called AndyVision to help reposition him from BBC newsreader to showbiz personality. The popular show featured around 50 celebs (which I booked) and made headlines in the press, once I PR'd them out.I also spotted Love Island Alex Miller several months before and pitched him for the Summer 2018 series and kept him in the press for six months after his appearance – not bad for a guy who was on the show eleven days!Over the years I have tried pitching a variety of entertainment and documentary formats but would now like to work with a team where I can develop and share my ideas.I am full of amazing ideas that I am keen to share, so am looking for wonderful opportunities to work with your development team.
