I am an international news journalist working for leading networks - including the BBC and Al Jazeera - in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia for over a decade. I have a varied portfolio from reporting, producing and leading programmes.Currently, I'm freelancing in London. Prior to this, I was a programme editor at Channel NewsAsia in Singapore. I have also been a news producer at Al Jazeera English in Qatar for over four years, and was part of the award-winning team covering the Arab Spring. During my career at the BBC (staff member for five years), I was a news TV producer for BBC Breakfast, a newsreader for Europe's most-listened to radio station BBC Radio 2. I was also a reporter for the popular youth station BBC Radio 1, and a writer for the award-winning Radio 4 1800 news bulletin.I have created digital videos for Al Jazeera's incredibly popular online youth platform, AJ+.
