I am Head of Documentary at Screen Australia. I am responsible for helping fund and produce content across the full range of documentary and factual screen content. I have extensive international factual and specialist factual TV credits as a director, producer, SP, Edit Producer and Exec. My programmes include critically acclaimed and popular factual TV series for a wide variety of UK, and international terrestrial and subscription broadcasters.I am available for freelance roles ranging from EP, SP, and producing, as well as an edit producer. I can be add value in any of these roles.I am skilled in a wide range of subject genres, from science to pop culture, from high end historical documentaries to true crime. Within these, I also have experience in producing most contemporary factual TV forms such as obs docs, drama-docs, formatted factual and fixed rig shows.I started my career in the US and am very familiar with US cable and subscription factual editorial forms and network expectations. I am the holder of a prestigious American Fulbright Scholarship, which adds gravitas, and academic integrity to my profile, and importantly is valued by US networks with a strong emphasis on fact checking and scientific rigour (Smithsonian/Nat Geo etc).In my variety of production roles, I have helped create over 60 films and series.
