I’m an experienced self shooting Producer Director with a background in factual and factual entertainment programming, most notably on arts and history documentaries. I have produced and directed on primetime series for major broadcasters; BBC1, BBC2, BBC4, Channel 4, ITV, Channel 5 and Sky Arts. I have made feature length docs for international broadcasters. I have worked on a number of series from the shoot through to the edit. I have also overseen multiple edit suites.
I have worked with high profile talent – including Robson Green, Stacey Dooley, Michael Portillo, Peter Andre – and have also made films with sensitive contributors, including one about Grenfell Tower fire bereaved and a film following a passionate tetraplegic climber.
I have directed and self-shot two factual series which involved following talent on their journeys around the UK. I can think quickly on my feet, react to a changing story and create the right environment to capture entertaining and engaging actuality.
I was a shooting director for the topical team of The One Show which gave me experience producing fast turnaround films, taking just three days from pitching an idea, through to scripting, filming and editing the piece.
I am an extremely confident shooter, able to shoot on FX9, FS7 and C300. I single-handedly shot a history series for Channel 5. I have experience with sliders, osmos, go pros and prime lenses. I had extensive BBC camera and lighting training, so can create beautiful interview set-ups and will go the extra mile to achieve this.

Robson Green’s long been a keen fisherman…James Murray – who played Prince Andrew in the most recent series of The Crown – became Robson’s chum (…) Now they’ve made a series full of warmth and humour as they travel to rivers such as the Dee in Scotland. ‘I get a great deal of satisfaction from fishing and I hope that passion comes over on screen,’ says Robson."
