Currently a kit co-ordinator in Bristol working for National Geographic, my experience involves managing technical teams and liaising with clients and partners to ensure the correct equipment is hired across the vast number of productions, including Our Planet, Doctor Who, Casualty and Planet Earth, to name only a handful.
I'd love to be able to continue in natural history as I've now been on several shoots, so have experience with location etiquitte both in the field and in a studio. On these shoots I've acted as a Camera Assistant, which is something I'm looking at continuing.
Through working in kit rooms I’ve been able to learn about a vast range of camera equipment, gaining knowledge and hands on experience in video and cinematography. I have now produced a number of corporate, music and promotional videos for clients as well as personal ventures.
I have a passion for these kinds of projects, seeing them out from start to finish, and love finding new ways to make engaging and creative content. My most recent project involved working with Help Bristol's Homeless, a charity that has converted shipping containers in to micro flats. I produced and directed a number of small videos which gives the project more exposure on fundraising and support.
