Living in Cyprus for 17 years and being brought up to playing in the park until the street lights come on or going to the seaside every weekend made me look at the world differently and always imagined a combination of different shots in my head that would fold into a short story.Attending the American International School in Cyprus for 8 years gave me a different prospective in life, meeting people from all over the world expanded my knowledge, nonetheless living on a small island never stopped me from making my dreams come true. Needing to pack everything up in 2 months and leave the life I once knew to moving to London and needing to do my A-levels in one year I chose to study media studies, art, and photography. The combination of all three made me fall in love with films even more.Going to university allowed me to try different roles in the first year and being given comments from my professors as having a good eye made me fall in love with camera operating, location managing, and editing but throughout the year and throughout many projects and having the opportunity of submitting one of them to a Film Festival, editing made me fall in love with films even more. In the past few I have managed to be accepted in three film festivals, The London-Lift off Festival, The 14th Annual London Short Film Festivals, and the 10th Annual BFI Future Film Festival. Being in an environment where everyone is passionate with films just as much as me allowed me to build good relationships with different people and have enjoyed every experience. I also had the opportunity to work with Fremantle Media on one of their upcoming projects, which was X Factor, working in an environment where you don’t realize time going by was something I was extremely passionate about and was grateful for the opportunity. https://vimeo.com/272101620
