Leo Theo ___________________________________________________________________________ Leonidas Theodoridis (born November 11. 1980) is a greek fashion and costume designer who launched his label that would later become leo theo. In addition to clothing, he also has given his name to a range of home items, accesories and jewellery. Leo Theo has a background in nursing before he studied textile artist. His catwalk shows were noted for their historic and theatricality.Early Life ___________________________________________________________________________ Leo Theo was born on November 11, 1980, to a greek family in Stuttgart Germany. His grandparents came to Germany as foreign workers. He went to both schools, german and greek. After graduating, he attended the Greek High School in Göppingen. As a teenager, he developed a passion for drawing, often spending hours on sketching, which gave him also a lot of prices, awards and diploes.Career ___________________________________________________________________________ Leo Theo didn’t study something related to the fashion design. His sewing gene was given from his grandpa who was a tailor. In 1999, he went to Greece and spent 4 years in Technical College of Nursing, in Ioannina, where he obtained a degree in psychosocial care and a master in art therapy. From 2003 he began to work parallel with nursing, in theaters, television and music stages. After his military service, he began to sell sketches and items like purses, hats, bags, necklaces in various bazaars, even at squares. His accessories and home designs were initially successful as much as his clothing designs. In 2010 he had his own online magazine CityMag and began also to work on costume design for theater, music videos, musicals, operas, music bands, movies and puppet theaters.In 2016, he went back to Germany working as a nurse in a retirement home and studied at the same time as a textile processor at the Swiss Textile College.
