Read MoreI have 8+ years of TV experience across the realms of History, Archaeology, Travel and Engineering/Transport, and am confident in steering programmes from development into production. Whether traditional docs, or factual entertainment with a history, or culture centered twist, I can adapt my telly skills to a wide range of genres. I am editorially minded, with skills in interviewing, setting up shoots at home and abroad, securing tricky locations, working with celebs, sticking to tight budgets, treatment creation, working in virtual reality and with GFX, directing recon, and carrying out primary source based history and archive research. I have a strong desire to improve on screen diversity without making this a box ticking exercise, hence my large personal network of historians and experts. A team player, able to lead, but will jump in to help on anything that needs doing! My favourite docs to work on are Ancient Egypt, and I have a long-term relationship with archive heavy shows, which I also adore the opportunity to work on. I have had some fantastic praise for my creativity, ability to come up with a convincing pitch, and as a calm and practical voice in a crisis or tough environment. My career highlights so far include working at Hatshepsut's temple in Egypt at dawn, after a Nile boat trip, and being lucky enough to receive a glowing testimonial from Fiona Bruce. It was a real highlight getting to work alongside such an iconic and powerful woman in this industry over 6 months.
