I've had the pleasure of working with Michelle on the Antiques Roadshow . She has researched , devised , scripted and directed the introductions to the shows with a great eye and an ear for a story . As a complete contrast , she has also directed the items featured on the show - a role which requires great skill in the rapid assimilation of information , working out what the story of an object is and how it is best told with just a few minutes preparation . She has also proved brilliant at getting the best out of her presenters and contributors . On top of that , she is unceasingly cheerful and energetic - and a joy to work with .
