I've over 10 years' experience Series Producing high-profile factual & live TV for BBC1, 2, 3, and 4, Channel 4, Nat Geo, Discovery and ABC (Australia). My specialism is popular science, but over my 20 year TV career I've made history, arts, fact-ent and topical programmes too. I've extensive experience in a range of formats including constructed documentary, popular entertainment, authored, studio based and live TV, covering all levels of factual content from popular fact-ent ('Born To Win' actuality/talent/science) to deep-dive science documentary ('Stephen Hawking on Black Holes') In 2016 I gained precious experience in a multi-platform channel editorial/commissioning role, as Deputy Editor of BBC3. I have a particularly strong reputation for developing successful, creative, high-profile partnerships within the BBC, and with external partners such as European Space Agency, NESTA and Jodrell Bank Observatory. I have extensive experience developing ideas & talent for factual commissioning, especially working with new talent on camera (including BBC1's Michael Mosley) I have been an enthusiastic adopter of digital, multi-platform and social media strategies in support of TV broadcasts, and put this to good use in role as Deputy Editor at BBC3.
