I've had the pleasure of working with Eve on several occasions over the last 10 years. Eve is a meticulous and creative worker. As SP and Director Eve's passion for the content she produces is second to none. Eve is great with talent and contributors - always making sure they are happy and well informed - as a result Eve gets brilliant content from all contributors. A real self-starter - Eve can be completely relied on to drive production and post-production. Able to work with budgets and teams big and small, Eve will put every penny on-screen with great attention to detail. I have no issue recommending Eve to any factual/factual entertainment production and look forward to working with her again soon. Will Knott - Executive Producer - Dare to Dance.
Eve has worked with Wildflame as Series Producer / Director on two BBC projects since completing the Factual Fast Track Scheme. Both series required Eve to create the formats from scratch and both included working with front of camera network talent. Carol Vorderman: Closer to Home and Dare to Dance with Amy Dowden were BBC1 Wales peak time series which needed high production values and requiring clear early evening sensibilites. Eve built a great relationship with the talent and also forged a terrific team spirit to deliver two projects that we are extremely proud of. Now, with a good level of experience in both acquisiton/post and having built strong foundations as an emerging Series Producer, Eve is now ready to progress to the next level and should be looking to secure even more ambitious factual projects in the future. We will cetrainly be looking to work with Eve on our future productions across our factual slate.
Eve is a resourceful, adaptable programme-maker who combines intelligence and flair. Her work is always rigorous editorially but comes packaged in real creativity. Give her any story and she will invariably find a fresh angle or thoughtful new take on it. She is good with on-screen talent and brings the best out in contributors of all kinds. Eve is highly collaborative in the production process and understands the needs of channels and commissioners. An all-round asset who can be thoroughly relied on to deliver.
Eve was an absolutely key member of our series for National Geographic, directing three of our episodes and edit producing one. She delivered on every aspect of the role, from her meticulous preparation for each shoot (including getting very deep into the historical research for her stories) through to the management of talent and crew on a tight schedule and budget. Her commitment to making this series a success was evident from day one and as it was the first commission for our start up I will forever be grateful to her! She was a great colleague, a really competent and creative pd, writer and producer throughout her time with Atomic and I would not hesitate to recommend her or indeed work with her again!
