Experienced director and producer with well over a decade in the industry specialising in Arts, history, and observational documentaries. These have ranged from long-form presenter-led series, blue-chip docudramas, single and feature docs with significant in-depth research, observational documentaries at major international institutions, to quick turnaround access, archive, and interview-based documentaries with high-profile contributors.

A real multi-tasker and team player, I have built up skills in scripting, research, story development, location managing, casting experts, members of public, and big-name presenters and contributors, self-shooting, lighting, editing, archive research, negotiating filming access and building relationships with cultural institutions. I have particular experience setting up shoots in the UK, USA, and Italy (where I hold dual citizenship), as well as filming all over Europe and most recently - and extensively - in Hong Kong. While my experience so far has been mostly in Arts and history, I have active interests in all aspects of specialist factual, current affairs, sport, food, and science, and I am keen to learn about and experience all genres of television production. I am also an experienced and confident self-shooter on a variety of Sony and Canon cameras, and have some experience editing on Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and FCP X.
