I drive the process from greenlight to delivery, building the team, managing the casting and research process, directing the team on location, and crafting the films in the edit, while working closely with the commissioning editor. I enjoy scriptwriting for different genres and can write to the tone and pace of any programme, from a fun social history format Back in Time (BBC 2) to a high profile arts doc Spielberg at 60 (BBC 2). I have directed and produced a wide range of on screen talent: Lucy Worsley, Sara Cox, Alice Roberts, Mark Kermode and Mary Beard to name a few and pride myself on drawing out the best from shy contributors.
