I am an award-winning film-maker and executive producer who has worked in factual network tv for more than 30 years. After working in-house for two decades at BBC Docs and at ITV, in 2008 I set up my own factual indy, Snapper TV, making films for BBC, ITV and C4.I’ve exec’d big hitting, acclaimed documentary, current affairs and undercover investigations as well as arts, travel and obs doc. I can turn my hand to sensitive longer-term projects such as access, undercover and drama doc as well as supervising very fast turnarounds. I have made films across Britain and in some of the most dangerous parts of the world.As head of development, I also run a varied slate across factual genres including docs, current affairs, investigations, specialist and popular factual, arts and travel. I frequently pitch to US broadcasters.I have regularly worked for other leading indies, making films such as the highly-acclaimed RTS-nominated C4 “Politicians For Hire” special, and the One World Award-nominated “Justice” film regarding judicial corruption in Africa for Al Jazeera English.I am extremely comfortable handling big-name presenters and have extensive experience in dealing with sensitive, complex legal and compliance issues.
