Read MoreI am an experienced Producer/Edit Producer with credits across premium streamer and network series, known for securing difficult access, producing high-profile contributors and tackling complex, sensitive subjects. RCGI recently was Producer and Edit Producer on a well-reviewed premium four-part series about Michael Jackson’s 2005 trial (Ch 4, Wonderhood), gaining access to his inner circle, staff, and trial lawyers. I dealt with complex legal issues due to the litigious nature of his estate and took an episode through the edit. I have produced/edit produced the award-winning series, The Body Next Door (Sky Docs, Raw TV). The critically acclaimed series involved immersing myself in an insular Welsh village for weeks to gain access to a very private community and working closely with a vulnerable family who were affected over generations by a bizarre crime. In the edit, I wove together competing timelines and crafted 'a chorus' of quirky characters, that set the unique tone of the series.
Before that I was Producer on the Bafta nominated series, In Vogue: The 90s (Raw TV), which was Disney+ UK’s biggest ever commission. For this, I negotiated and produced interviews with high-profile contributors such as Anna Wintour, Hillary Clinton, and Victoria Beckham. Editorial overview included script writing and working with archive. I produced the award-winning Planet Sex (BBC/Hulu), hosted by Cara Delevingne, developing sensitive stories on sexual identity and orientation, polyamory and pornography. I produced Cara and directed key interviews on location in South Africa, Japan and the US, and developed and set up shoots in Colombia, Lebanon and Mexico.
Other credits include PD on American Monster (Arrow/Discovery) directing victims’ families, and investigators; a Nutopiascience series with Chris Hemsworth, and casting producer on the Emmy-nominated, The World According to Jeff Goldblum. I’ve also secured access to an immortalist cult and travelled around the U.S. with Miriam Margolyes for a BBC series about death, and have secured prison access for Stacey Dooley. I developed and pitched a story for Ch 4’s Unreported World, which went on to win a Press Gazette British Journalism Award.
Before moving into TV I was a journalist for national publications, specializing in true-life and crime, regularly pitching exclusives. My skills as a journalist have hugely informed my work as a Documentary Producer/Edit Producer: finding stories and contributors, investigative interrogation, building narratives and earning the trust of vulnerable contributors, with a strong sense of duty of care. I am a US-UK dual citizen.
