I have primarily worked with writers and independent producers in the UK, as well as being in my fifth year reading scripts for Hollywood-based
Screenplay Readers; where clients have ranged from first-time writers to Academy Award nominees. I'm good at developing comedy especially, but I'm just a fan of film & entertainment in general and would like to think I can offer useful ideas for all different types of projects.
In 2022, my first two feature film credits were released: Prototype (Sci-fi/Thriller) & Return of the Salem Witch (Horror). I wrote Prototype during the UK national lockdown of 2020, with its distribution held up post-pandemic, and it ended up being released about five months before Salem Witch; which was written a year later. I have proven myself well capable of hitting tight deadlines for multiple drafts and being able to implement notes from producers thoroughly, without compromising page count targets. Prototype is available to buy on Amazon and stream for free on Plex; while Return of the Salem Witch is streaming for free on Youtube.
As of 2023, I have two more feature films in (pre-/)production: Island of the Dolls 2 (Horror / Proportion Productions) and Sunfall (Disaster / Jagged Edge Productions); along with a short film, Kindling (Comedy/Drama / Bad Behaviour Films), in its crowdfunding stage.
Since 2022 I have been on the selection committee for the Wimbledon International Short Film Festival; watching and rating batches of submissions, which I absolutely love.
Away from film, I volunteer as a proofreader for The Vegan Society and enjoy reading books, walking my dog, playing video games and cooking.
