I am a camera operator with a variety of specialist skills for producing content in factual, environmental, natural history and underwater projects. With an HSE part IV commercial diving qualification, rebreather training and experience using and maintaining a variety of different underwater housings, I am able to take on any underwater role from safety diver to camera operator.
As a positive and enthusiastic team player, I feel that I have a level-headed approach to any challenges and am not afraid to multi-task across different roles.
Filming techniques used include underwater, aerial, high-speed, 3D, time-lapse, green/blue screen, IR, UV, macro, optical bench and microscopy.
Equipment used includes RED Epic, Dragon, Weapon, ARRI Amira, Photron, Panasonic GH4, A7s/r mark 1&2, Go Pro, Black Magic, Toshiba minicams, HD1200, Panasonic HCK10s, Movi and Ronin.
Other key skills I have are insect handling and basic husbandry, audio, editing (Premiere and Final Cut Pro), set building, DIT, transcoding, set up of minicam rigs, stills photography and picture researching. Read Less
