Misia is an experienced Development Producer with a passion for creating multi-layered, impactful, globally resonant documentaries. After accumulating eight years of experience across scripted and unscripted genres and spending over three years at Passion Pictures working primarily on archival-led feature biopics, she joined Dogwoof in 2023 to help spearhead their Original Development department in London. Her work is driven by a commitment to originate ground-breaking programming and to champion diverse, emerging talent. She thrives on generating fresh ideas, building relationships with talent, securing exclusive access, and guiding projects from inception to production, all while prioritising cinematic quality and storytelling that transcends borders. Currently, she is focused on building a diverse slate, actively developing several feature-length and series-length premium documentaries, both in a creative and leadership capacity. Born in Poland, Misia is dedicated to shining a light on underrepresented voices, seeing herself as one of them.
