I've shot a number of films for Dina. She is a very good director, and working with her on location is always a pleasure. She aims for the highest aesthetic and narrative quality attainable and I'm proud of the work I have done with her.

She seems genuinely unflappable, is very collaborative and always maintains her calm focus in the face of the constant logistical upheaval inherent on a documentary film shoot. She is well prepared and clearly communicates her narrative goals, while being flexible enough to allow talented crew the space to do their best work.

Dina is excellent at people management and maintaining good morale, providing the framework for happy collaboration between crew members. She’s also very sensitive with contributors, allowing us to get the best from the subjects we are filming.

She is very perceptive - recognising the pressures and workload of her team and is skilled at being able to effectively manage this alongside her own editorial workload. Dina was my speaker rehearsal coach for TEDxBristol 2019 and to say she elevated my performance is an understatement. She took my talk from being a GCSE powerpoint performance to something meaningful, punchy and connecting.
