Creative PD & skilled cameraperson, with 20 years directing experience. I make specialist factual films for UK and US Broadcasters and SVODs, with an emphasis on history, science, engineering, arts & culture. Clients include BBC, Channel 5, Discovery, National Geographic, Curiosity Stream and More4. Strengths include location directing & shooting to the highest level. I work well with presenters & elicit strong performances from contributors and experts. I relish working on brand new series, working up structures and shooting scripts. In the edit, I have strong edit producing and writing skills. I enjoy the challenge of tackling complex narratives. I’ve used CGI, animations, and drama recon.

Prior to and in parallel with my PD work, I trained and freelanced as a lighting cameraman for almost a decade, I shot it all: News, documentary, current and consumer affairs, music, arts, food, corporate films etc.
