I'm a very experienced and highly organised Series Editor, Series/ Senior Edit Producer, Senior Producer and TV Trainer.
My passions are people and storytelling.

As a Series Editor, the first series I oversaw: Champions: Full Gallop, was nominated for Sports Documentary Series of the Year.
And the stories that we captured and wove, in Series 2, were even more powerful and moving.

In the twenty three years that I've been producing and directing, I've shot, directed and seen through edit, around 80x60 minute films. I've made constructed and observational documentaries, BAFTA nominated sport and history documentaries, travelogues, specialist factual films and a full length feature doc, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and received a 7 minute standing ovation.

Over the last 10 years I’ve mostly resided in the edit - which I love, but recently I’m managing to get back to the coalface, directing and where possible shooting and editing the footage myself.
Even when I'm based full time in the edit, I am alway happy to support the team in the field - with camera training, shoot prep and scripting. I also pride myself on my master interviews, series oversight and shoot logistics.

Whatever I'm doing, be it in the edit, field or training, I'm always focussed on strong storytelling, making the best film possible, and all while maintaining a sense of humour.

In terms of languages, I'm fluent in Spanish and I speak very good French - I often make the French episodes for Box to Box eg on Six Nations:Full Contact and Tour de France:Unchained.

Pre-telly I spent a year working as a psychologist on domestic violence cases in Peru, and I taught psychology at the University in Lima. I'm no stranger to tough subject matter and sensitive handling. Read Less
