I'm Half Japanese and a thorough and editorially-led Docs Producer / Edit Producer with a first class degree in Classics/English from King's College London. I am a people person with a keen sense of humour.
Always versatile and a team player but pride myself on my diplomacy in demanding situations. I’m high energy and approach challenges with positivity and am keen to think outside the box. As a passionate story-teller my main interest is building narrative in documentaries with integrity at the core. I have a great memory and maintain attention to detail despite my ability to multitask. I am extremely proficient at research, mainly because I truly enjoy it!
Skilled at gaining difficult access, finding tricky to locate people and maintaining delicate relationships with sensitive contributors. Experienced in setting up and producing shoots with both a single camera or a full crew and conducting engaging interviews myself, or supporting the director editorially. I also conduct shoots with the edit in mind, and love scripting and being highly involved in the edit process, both visually and narratively. I love learning, and consider myself an all-rounder.

I am a forager, and have expertise in plants and fungi. I have a real interest in cooking, literature, history and classics. I also grew up playing four instruments and love music - I have a passion for and good knowledge of Rock genres like Punk and Emo.
