I am an independent journalist and freelance producer based in Washington D.C. I have 20+ years experience producing content for news broadcasters, documentary production houses and corporate clients in Asia, Europe and the United States. I am aiming to focus more on documentaries (current affairs/social justice/history/culture) but I am also happy to work on other broadcast network and independent video projects. I am a seasoned researcher, interviewer and rights clearance/licensing negotiator. I'm skilled at location scouting, managing talent, field producing and supervising edits. I love visual storytelling and finding compelling people, places and pictures to help convey those stories.
