Alex is a Director/Writer/Producer and owner of Savage Films (www.savagefilms.co.uk), a creative production company for film and advertising. He's passionate about storytelling in film, advertising as well as gaming and likes stories with strong underlying themes.

On the commercial side, Alex has worked in the industry for more than a decade and has created content for brands like Disney, Heineken, Wimbledon, Amazon, Lego and more. He also has a lot of experience in the publishing world where he's worked for the BBC, VICE Media, The Economist and the Financial Times. Alex is very consultative and strategic in his approach. His strategy background from working at Google certainly helps. He's also very fast and efficient when it comes to concepting or scripting. Alex directs both live action and animation projects.

On the narrative side, Alex focuses on the thriller, sci-fi and drama genres. His thriller short film "Lycanthropy" has won 11 awards, 38 selections and a 3-year broadcast deal in North America with Shorts TV. Alex is now developing several projects across film and television:

"Ken" - drama short film about male body dysmorphia - currently raising funds
"Rewind" - feature documentary about music videos in 70s and 80s - currently in pre-production
