WILDLIFE FILMMAKER - ASSISTANT PRODUCER 

Assistant Producer and award-winning wildlife filmmaker with extensive experience in remote locations on survival, adventure and natural history documentaries for National Geographic/ Disney+, Apple, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel and others. Wide experience in all stages of production, from development to research, from self-shooting to sound recording, from location logistics to post-production - and always keen to learn more! Fluent in Spanish and Portugese

KEY SKILLS

·       Experience planning overseas shoots (including visas, permits and travel arrangements)
·       South American with previous production experience in Bolivia and Ecuador
·       Speak fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese and a good understanding of German. 
·       I-VISA Holder
·       Advanced Open Water SSI diving certificate
·       PADI Enriched Air Diver
·       Experience diving in strong currents.
·       Extremely confident in engaging with scientists and a global network of contacts and local guides around the world. 
·       Experience working on natural history, survival and adventure shows.
·       Experience directing wildlife sequences on location (location & studio)
·       Trained in remote trauma and life support (LAZARUS-Sept2022)
·       Studio and macro filming
·       Technical skills:
           -Self-shooting camerawork (Sony FS7, Zcam, Sony AS7, Canon 5D Mk II & II). 

          -Sound recording (radio mics, boom, mixer, Tascam DR-100, ZOOM H4n).

          -Camera traps & drop cameras (Cognisys)
         - Video & audio editing (Avid, Adobe Premier, Final Cut). Read Less
