My experience in TV expands 10 years with the early bulk of it spent as a Production Manager in Factual & Arts programming. I then shifted to Business Affairs, where I acquired a valuable understanding of exploitation rights and the after-life of a programme in new media and worldwide territories. More recently I have moved to Netflix where I work as a Manager in Legal Delivery; the collection and review of all final legal paperwork for UK Original Series, Documentaries, Comedy, and International Original Film which is commissioned from across the EMEA region. I have a breadth of knowledge in general production & post-production practices, commissioning terms, clearance rights, talent unions & guild terms - including Equity, WGGB, SAG and WGA - music copyright, and international distribution. I have experience in logistical planning, diligent legal/compliance review, archive research & clearance, broadcaster deliverables/post-production paperwork, budget management, programme reversioning for international markets, and clip/stills licensing to third-party producers. I am perpetually keen to enhance my skills and branch out into new genres, work with new teams, and be apart of the making of exciting new original content; always with the aim of expanding my knowledge for an ongoing career.
