I'm a trauma awareness trainer for the Columbia Journalism School's Dart Centre where I lead workshops on how best to manage vulnerable contributors and work with traumatic themes and materials. I work with trauma-informed principals in how I deal with cast and crew and am a conscientious manager.

My aim with each film is to find the heart of the story using visual flair, thoughtful interviews and action driven sequences. I think deeply about each subject I approach and create compelling narratives drawn from genuine curiosity in my contributors backed up by high quality research into the context of the situation.
