After being a professional actor for twenty years, I set up Big Buddha Films in 2006 and have made numerous award winning short films and the critically acclaimed, BIFA long listed feature doc, Still Loved. I'm currently in post-production on a BFI Network funded short film, Safe, Produced by Rachel Robey at Wellington Films and have recently directed my first three episodes of Emmerdale for ITV. I'm currently shooting my feature documentary, The Cowboy From Newcastle. I Directed series 2 (20 episodes) of the award winning children's show The World According to Grandpa, for Saffron Cherry Productions for Milkshake on C5. I have directed over fifty episodes of Doctors for the BBC. I will direct Coronation Street for ITV in May.I am in development on a feature film, Cold, with Wellington Films (Calibre/The Levelling), a sci fi TV series, The Return and comedy TV series, Hitched.
