This has recently included the Grenfell tower fire, and the Catalonia Crisis. His specialist subjects and areas of interest include refugees and global migration. He has reported on the Europe refugee crisis and has spent extensive time in Northern France for the BBC and ITN – where a piece he produced for Radio 4’s Today Programme reunited two long-lost refugee brothers from Afghanistan. He also regularly researches on longer-form projects and investigations.
As a broadcast camera operator, he is confident and proficient on a range of broadcast cameras from small handheld kits and DSLRs to the Canon C300s and shoulder-mounted Sony and Panasonic models complemented by editing on Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. Edward is tenacious, hard-working and passionate and keen to put his head to any project.
