I am a creative, insightful and collaborative script editor, development producer and producer, working across TV, film and audio. I love helping writers flesh out their characters, create their worlds and dig deep to pull out and convey what they’re trying to say. I’m extremely conscientious and my time spent with various production companies and broadcasters over many years has given me extensive experience of different working styles and writers’ rooms.  My broadcast credits include projects for Sky, ITV, UKTV and Audible and I have worked with production companies such as Merman.

While I always enjoy working with established talent, I am particularly passionate about supporting emerging creatives and have launched and participated in many great industry initiatives to do just that.

Over the years, I have worked on a number of dramas – including recently script editing Audible’s first interactive audio book. However I specialise in comedy – seeing it as a brilliant tool for telling challenging, thought-provoking stories in an easily-digestible way. For that reason, I am proud to be a non-executive director of Funny Women – again, supporting emerging talent.

An avid joiner of things, I am a member of PACT, BECTU, the RTS and WFTV as well as a BAFTA Connect member and a voting member of BIFA (British Independent Film Association). I am also a regular ‘industry guest’ on the NFTS’ writing courses. Read Less
