I’m experienced in negotiating sensitive access (including UK + US Police forces, survivors of sex trafficking, survivors of torture and their legal teams); researching stories and casting contributors in the UK and internationally; scripting and directing master interviews; self-shooting in tricky situations like active conflict zones (including the West Bank and the Brazilian Amazon rainforest), remote locations (including the Carpathian Mountains and the Sonoran Desert) and high profile institutions (including UK prisons, the V&A and the Natural History Museum). I regularly make films for Channel Four News, taking them from research through the edit, casting contributors, producing reporters, writing scripts and producing films internationally on the refugee crisis, climate change, the far right, knife crime, police brutality, racial inequality and environmental crime.I’m an NFTS Directing Documentary MA graduate, with UK + Eire passports, a US i-Visa and I shoot on my own FX6 and prime lenses.
