I am a person who loves to make things happen. I'm tenacious, passionate about making quality entertainment, and looking to make a positive contribution with the skills I have, as well as picking up some new ones along the way.After graduating from the National Film and Television School, my first film was Leon the Pig Farmer which opened to substantial critical and audience acclaim. I then directed and produced Stiff Upper Lips, starring Peter Ustinov, Prunella Scales and Sean Pertwee. This spoof of British Period Drama – shot in England, Italy and India - won over the UK critics before being bought by Miramax for the US. On the back of Stiff Upper Lips, I directed The Bachelor starring Chris O’Donnell and Renee Zellwegger. I then returned to England and set up Magnet Films with Sir David Frost. I directed the family comedy Bob The Butler starring Tom Green and Brooke Shields before producing a new comedy In Your Dreams – starring Dexter Fletcher, Parminder Nagra and Linda Hamilton. I also developed and served as Executive Producer on the critically acclaimed feature documentary In The Hands of the Gods and on The Story of ____. In 2011 I produced Retreat a psychological thriller. Retreat stars Thandie Newton, Cillian Murphy and Jamie Bell. It was acquired for theatrical release by Sony for the US and UK. In 2014 I devised, directed and produced the improvised football comedy United We Fall.in March 2016, I wrote directed and produced NotMoses which ran for 5 weeks at the Arts Theatre in London's West End. I wrote, directed and produced The Unseen a unique psychological thriller which opened in the USA as AMAUROSIS in May 2019. It stars Jasmine Hyde, Richard Flood and Simon Cotton and was shot in Manchester and the Lake District.I have written directed and produced HAPLESS starring Tim Downie, Lucy Montgomery and Geoff McGivern.
