Until June 2023, Amanda was Executive Producer of Al Jazeera's Earthrise strand; responsible for determining its editorial line, commissioning content from independent producers and overseeing all facets of production through to transmission. She also presented the show and produced and directed numerous episodes of her own and other standalone programmes on a similar theme. A fine journalist and programme maker, she was, and is, fiercely committed to the importance of broadening public awareness and understanding about climate change and the urgent need for governments, international institutions, businesses and individuals to take action to limit its catastrophic consequences.
