Shooting PD and Edit Producer with 20 years industry experience.

Proficient in setting up shoots both in the UK and abroad. Working on pre-production scripts to keep everything in budget and on schedule.

Great story-telling ability with mind to keep things interesting, informative, and exciting. Strong with contributors of all backgrounds, I get the best out of my interviews and am practised in discussing sensitive subjects or complex issues, whilst weaving multiple strands and forming character, tension, or emotional beats. Working well with presenters, I am well versed in writing links or voice over both in pre-production or at post production stage.

DOP standard shooting with the capacity to film various styles, from sit-down interviews, reconstruction to actuality, as well as being able light for interviews. Confident working with a range of cameras including but not limited to the Sony FS7 and FX9 as well as being able to operate and monitor onboard sound.  

A former editor bringing my knowledge of post-production into edit producing. Focussing on storytelling, I’m adept at working with interviews, reality, recon and archive to see a project through to completion.

Calm under pressure and adaptable, I work well with crew and contributors alike, and communicate my ideas in a clear and concise manner to get the best out of a production.

Friendly with a driven personality and good sense of humour along with a strong underlying general knowledge, which allows me to cover a multitude of different subjects and styles, and work in multiple environments with ease. 

Documentary, factual and factual entertainment are my preferred areas, with subject matter in history, crime, science, music and film being my inclination, although not my limitation.
