With 40+ years of experience in the film and television industry, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of every facet of production, allowing me to bring a strategic, big-picture perspective to line-producing, budgeting, scheduling and post-production workflows. I am competent at creating and managing budgets using Movie Magic, building high-calibre teams and driving productions forward with efficiency and innovation against a framework of valuable industry experience, whilst having a clear understanding of BBC Policies and procedures. I also have experience of working alongside BBC Contracts and Business Affairs teams.

Team Leadership & Industry Innovation
I bring a strong, collaborative and decisive leadership style to large-scale productions, balancing creative ambition with logistical precision. I’m comfortable working with actors, agents, HOD’s, crews, and technology partners, bringing everyone together on the same journey to deliver high-impact visual storytelling within budgetary confines.

Directing
I have directed hundreds of hours of broadcast television, spanning single and multi-camera productions, live shows, scripted studio formats, and immersive documentary storytelling. From 10-minute shorts to 3-hour live broadcasts, my work reflects strong editorial judgment, creative problem-solving, and a deep passion for storytelling—even in the most challenging environments and with the most challenging budgets.I cultivate an approachable and confident leadership style, and whilst not every job requires me to be a director, every job benefits from my experience as a director.
