My experience in production management began with 6 years at the BBC, where I worked in various departments. Following this I was at VICE for two years across their news short-form and mid-form content, as well as their fashion brand i-D. During my time at VICE I demonstrated strong organisation and planning skills coordinating a wide range of documentary series, which were both UK and Internationally based. With each series I had huge involvement from the pre-production right through to post, this meant working closely with the producers and editors. A significant amount of the documentaries were archive heavy, therefore I had to often work directly with archive team in the UK and US to clear content. Having worked in such a small production management team, I would often step up to JPM on many occasions, working alongside the production executive to produce budgets, make senior cost and risk assessment decisions, and manage junior members of the team. I am used to working in a fast-paced environment as a lot of the episodes were filmed last minute, this would often mean balancing several shoots at once under a short time constraint. I am now looking for the next opportunity to develop my skills and rise to new challenges.
