Experienced Shooting PD & DV Director | Archive Specialist | Award-Winning Filmmaker | Manchester-Based

I’m a versatile and experienced Shooting Producer/Director and DV Director based in Manchester, with strong self-shooting skills and a keen editorial eye. Over the years, I’ve worked across a broad range of popular factual and factual entertainment programming, including Big Little Crimes (BBC), Nick Knowles’s Big House Clearout (C5), Olivia Meets Her Match (ITVBe), Four in a Bed (C4), The Kyle Files (ITV), Under Attack (ITV), Scrapyard Supercar (Dave), and the BAFTA-winning Great House Giveaway (C4, June 2021).

I’m confident working both independently and within larger teams, with a reputation for building strong contributor relationships and delivering engaging, character-led stories under pressure.

I also have a wealth of archive experience, including sourcing and clearing footage for broadcast use.

Outside of broadcast, my short films — One Last Love Song, Six Minutes of Freedom, and Cops and Robbers — have screened at major festivals. Cops and Robbers won Best Director/s and Best Cinematography at the Yellow Fever Film Festival 2012, and my commercial for Chevrolet was shortlisted for a MOFILM award in 2015.

I’m now looking to further build my credits as a PD on compelling, story-driven productions — whether in factual, obs-doc, or formatted series. Read Less
