Read MoreI’ve had a deep interest in acting since I started GCSE Drama; Performing Shakespeare for the first time. I found such a strong and passionate energy from Henry V’s monologue that I’ve been gripped to the stage for years. While my classmates scorned the mere prospect of even reading a play I found freedom in it, an allowance to entertain and inform in a medium which permits such an intimate connection with the audience whether on stage, in a radio or television studio or even through new mediums such as YouTube.
Since then my interests have developed in somewhat disjointed ways; I’ve grown an avid interest in these new digital mediums and the media industry as a whole as well as video games and the growing popularity of video game journalism. In all that time I’ve transitioned from an A-Level Student on in-house school radio to hosting my own live radio show through the University of Bedfordshire’s RadioLaB, all in conjunction with developing my own personal projects online with YouTube, Twitch.tv and the newly released streaming platform Beam.pro.
After graduating with a BA in Media Performance and being allowed to experience the variety of creative roles within a production I’ve since wanted to turn back to the catalyst which started my journey; Acting.
