Hello! I’m a bilingual (Fr/En) director, producer and researcher based in Paris, specializing in international productions. Originally from the US, I moved to France in 2009, after having lived, worked and/or studied in South Africa, Spain, and Japan.
While English is my native language, my speciality is bringing French stories to International audiences. With over a decade of experience in production, investigative research and directing, I love digging deep to find key witnesses, securing access to exlusive testimony, and gathering information by asking the pertinent questions that will buid a compelling narrative. I have provided French production and research services for numerous anglophone documentaries including Grenfell Uncovered (Netflix), Diana: One day in Paris (National Geographic), MH370: The Plane that Disappeared (Netflix) and Charlie Hebdo: Three Days in Paris (Channel 4). I've succeded in securring interviews with the French police and government officials, uncovering exclusive witness testimony in numerous current events, and developing compelling storylines for pitch decks and edits. With an educational background in International Studies and Filmmaking, I have combines analytical depth with the technical skill to guide productions from conception to broadcast. Additionally, I've periodically picked up a camera as a shooting PD for Google Arts and Culture, Discovery, and others.
Telling the truth in current events is difficult work, so to remind audiences and myself of the beauty of this world, I've directed dozens of lifestyle, travel and nonscripted projets. Since 2020, I've directed over 40 episodes of HGTV's perrenial favorite, House Hunters International. My portraits of French artists and performers which appeared on Mode Media's YouTube channel convinced me that artists are the universe's answer to violence. I strive to always (as Jung put it), "kindle a light in the darkness of mere existance."
Here are the nuts and bolts of my profile:
Bilingual English/French (English native speaker)
Shooting: Sony and Cannon Cameras
Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro
American Passport
France/EU Working Visa
French and American Drivers License
International Relations Bachelors (University of Washington)
French MFA: Directing and Producing (L'Ecole Internationale de Création Audiovisuelle et Realisation)
Credits: Netflix, National Geographic, More 4, France 5, BBC Radio, The New York Times
I thrive on storytelling that connects cultures, whether through intimate interviews, visually compelling narratives, or cross-border collaborations. With experience in research, directing, and producing, I bring a multicultural lens to every project, shaped by my work in the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia. I strive to calmly integrate culturally diverse teams in the field or the editing suite, and I value the creative energy that comes from building inclusive, dynamic collaborations. As the industry evolves, I’m excited to explore new ways to bring fresh and urgent stories to life.
