I worked with Karen when she was the Series Producer on the debut series of The Great Pottery Throwdown for BBC Two. She displayed exemplary organisational skills, grappling with complex schedules and a large production team. She showed real clarity on the series editorial, with a rare ability to work out how stories should best play out for maximum drama and tension. Karen has the intelligence to grasp detailed technical content and translate this into accessible and exciting television. She worked brilliantly with the presenting and judging talent, inspiring trust and enthusiasm, and showed care and sensitivity with the contributors. She is an excellent communicator and has a positive and easy-going manner. It was a pleasure to work with her and I hope we work together again. Strongly recommended.
