As a highly experienced Edit Producer, Producer/Director and Series Producer I’ve made a huge number of films for all the major broadcasters. As well as producing for highly respected independent production companies, I’ve also worked extensively for the BBC. I’m well known for helping create visually exciting films and I know how to tell great stories. I trained as a journalist with the BBC – a fact that I’m incredibly proud of. My work focuses on history and specialist factual television. I spent many years honing my craft with the acclaimed Timewatch History team at the BBC. I then graduated to Who Do You Think You Are? – a life lesson in great story telling. I’ve worked with, directed and interviewed many high-profile individuals during my time in television and it’s a role that I relish. I have a proven track record of working very well with major talent and first-timers alike. Also, during the current pandemic I’ve embraced strict new guidelines and safety measures and have adapted to remote working when it was needed. I regard myself as an excellent team player – most of those that I’ve worked with will speak highly of me. I believe I know how to get the very best out of people and also give the best of myself. Working to tight budgets is something I’m very comfortable with and my projects are consistently on or under budget.
